Thankful Thursday

         As I sit here about to die from exhaustion I have to admit I’m a pretty lucky girl, and I really do have a lot to be thankful for.

         I’m thankful for those teacher’s that realize we have other classes and try their best to not give busy work. For those teachers who try to explain and make sure everyone understands, and for those teachers who always accept late papers. You are rare to find and beautiful creatures.

         I’m thankful for Starbuck’s salted mocha frappuccinos that help me stay awake all day, and of course Freddy’s vanilla milkshakes and cheeseburgers. And then I’m thankful for my gym membership.

         I’m thankful for my friends that deal with my grumpiness. For the ones who go to Freddy’s and Starbucks with me despite the fact we’ve been there already once today. For the friends who have my back and are on my side no matter what the circumstance. For the friends who help me grow spiritually and accept my beliefs.

         I'm thankful that high school isn't life, and that someday I'll be done with tests. Although I'll probably hate myself years from now for saying this, and wish I could go back to these days. In that case, I'm thankful for time that I'm not guaranteed. 

          I’m thankful for a wonderful God who loves me relentlessly despite my mistakes. For a God who actually died for me. 

         And lastly, (but most definitely not least) I’m so so very thankful for my bed.
