And also, of course, my mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas.
I sat and thought for awhile and realized...I didn't want anything money could buy. Maybe it's sad that I'm just now coming to this at 16 years old, but it was honest. I mean, I can easily make a list of clothes I wouldn't mind accepting.
But, what I want is love.
And money can't buy that. Not the kind I want at least.
Did I just grow up....?????
"Whoever loves money never has enough, whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless. As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owners except to feast their eyes upon them? The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether they eat little or much, but as for the rich, their abundance permits them no sleep." - Ecclesiastes 5:10-15
God Bless!
